Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Mix and Batch Kit?

A Mix and Batch Kit is a plant-based baking kit that is delivered to your door. Each month you will receive the pre-measured ingredients needed to create delicious home-baked treats.

You don't have to keep your pantry stocked or spend your time searching the grocery store for ingredients. We source the high quality ingredients and deliver the perfect amounts directly to you.

Whether you are new to baking, new to eating a vegan, egg-free, or dairy-free diet, or you just want to try some new recipes, everyone can experience something new.

What do I get with my subscription/What's in a Kit?

Each month you will receive:

-The dry ingredients needed to create two delicious home-baked treats. Each recipe will generally produce 12-24 servings.

-A simple, detailed instruction card for each recipe.

What do I need at home?

Each month you will need:

-Coconut oil** and water.

-Basic baking tools, i.e., a set of bowls, a cookie sheet, spatulas, etc.

Each month we will detail the tools required for the upcoming kit's recipes. They can be found at This Month's Kit. Please note that we do not send perishable products. If they will be required in a recipe, we believe that these products are better sourced locally to ensure that fresh ingredients are used.

What tools are required?

In general we recommend the following: a set of bowls, a measuring cup, a whisk, a spatula, cake or cupcake pans, a cookie sheet, and a knife or spatula for frosting. Each kit will identify the tools required to bake each recipe.

Our recipes are designed to be able to be made by hand and do not require any motorized tools.

What if I have a food allergy?

Unfortunately we are currently unable to accomodate food allergies or sensitivities.

While our kits only include plant-based ingredients, they are packaged in a multi-use kitchen facility that processes products that may contain milk, eggs, soy, wheat, seafood, crustaceans, peanuts, and tree nuts.

Are Mix and Batch Kits vegan/egg-free/dairy-free?

They are! Our recipes exclusively include plant-based ingredients.

Do I have to be an experienced baker?

Absolutely not! Although any skill level can enjoy our kits, they are designed to be incredibly easy to use and provide a perfect way for someone who is interested to get into baking.

The coconut oil required for these recipes is standard coconut oil. Coconut oils that are marketed as "always liquid" WILL NOT work in these recipes. If you are unsure about the coconut oil that you have, place it in your refrigerator. If it solidifies, you have the right stuff!
